History

Hurstland Farm has been breeding and raising stakes winners for nearly a century, beginning with CHEROKEE in 1922.

Ninety years later, Hurstland Farm bred, raised, and sold the outstanding 2012 European Champion two-year-old filly CERTIFY, who was a perfect 4-for-4 as a juvenile, impressively winning the Fillies’ Mile (Eng-G1), May Hill S. (Eng-G2), and Sweet Solera S. (Eng-G3) for Sheikh Mohammed’s Goldolphin.

CERTIFY is out of the Hurstland Farm stakes winner and blue-hen mare Please Sign In (Doc’s Leader), who also produced Oak Leaf S. (G1) queen CRY AND CATCH ME, who recently sold for $3.5 million, and Bijou, who sold as a yearling in 2013 for $1.45 million.
